  • Silent Running

    After the end of all botanical life on Earth, ecologist Freeman Lowell (Bruce Dern) maintains a greenhouse on a space station in order to preserve various plants for future generations. Assisted by three robots and a small human crew, Lowell rebels when he is ordered to destroy the greenhouse in favor of carrying cargo, a decision that puts him at odds with everyone but his mechanical companions.     Westworld is a futuristic theme park where paying guests can pretend to be gunslingers in an artificial Wild West populated by androids. After paying a sizable entrance fee, Blane (James Brolin) and Martin (Richard Benjamin) are determined to unwind by hitting the saloons and shooting off their guns. But when the system goes haywire, their escapist fantasy suddenly takes on a grim reality.

    Children are more than welcome at CONTINUUM! While we will not be offering a babysitting service, we DO recognize the challenges of trying to enjoy a con with a youngster (or two) in tow. We will be offering a selection of activities geared toward the under 12 crowd that are designed to engage their minds and imaginations... and to help make con parents’ lives a bit easier during the weekend. Saturday at 6 PM we will be offering a pizza party! Please register at Registration by 1 PM on Saturday. See full room schedule at the KIDtinuum room!

    Come join the Shinigami of Black Butler on the High Seas for tea, games, and adventure.  Sample some international foods and spices worthy of the East India Trading Company!  Remember, you can stop by between events or stay the whole time and relax.  As long as there is space at the table, you are welcome to join our little crew of Grim Reapers ... But butlers and zombies may have to walk the plank.  Ages 13+ welcome.
